What Time Will Raphael Collignon Play Against Hamad Medjedovic?
Collignon and Medjedovic are on the Day 1 Schedule at Open Provence 2025 on Monday 10 February 2025. Lets breakdown the career, past stats and recent form of these players and predict who will get the victory.
Who Will Win In This Head-To-Head?
Raphael Collignon, a 23-year-old player from Belgium, will be facing off against Hamad Medjedovic from Serbia for the first time at the tour level. They have previously met at the 24 Bratislava-2 Challenger tournament, where Collignon secured a victory with a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
Collignon, currently ranked at World No. 122, reached his career-high ranking of No. 119 in January 2025 after winning his second Challenger title in Lyon the previous November. He made his debut at the tour level in the 2024 Davis Cup Finals Group Stage, but unfortunately lost to van de Zandschulp and Fonseca. Noteworthy wins include defeating No. 84 van de Zandschulp to win his first Challenger title in Luedenscheid in 2024, as well as triumphing over No. 97 Coric to claim his second title in Lyon. Collignon is coached by Steve Darcis, a former World No. 38 and the captain of Belgium’s Davis Cup team. He has a record of 105-42 on the ITF Tour, with eight titles, seven on clay at the M25 level, and one on hard courts.
It is worth mentioning that Collignon is seeking his first tour-level win, as he previously lost to van de Zandschulp and Fonseca in the 2024 Davis Cup, as well as Fucsovics at the 2024 Antwerp tournament as a wild card. In 2025, he has yet to secure a win across all levels, currently holding a 0-3 record.

Medjedovic, a 21-year-old player from Serbia, is ranked at World No. 96, with a career-high ranking of No. 94. In January 2025, he broke into the Top 100 after deciding not to participate in the Australian Open Qualifiers and instead won a Challenger title in Oeiras-1. He achieved his first ATP Tour semifinal at the 2023 Gstaad tournament, where he qualified and upset 2015 champion Thiem. Medjedovic also reached his first ATP Tour final in Belgrade, defeating his compatriot Djere.
Medjedovic has qualified for the main draws of Grand Slam tournaments, including Roland Garros in 2023 and 2024, Wimbledon in 2023, and the US Open in 2024. He has a Challenger record of 51-31, with five wins in finals. He became the third Serbian teenager, along with Djokovic and Tipsarevic, to win three Challenger titles, which he achieved at the 2022 Luedenscheid, 2023 Szekesfehervar, and 2023 Mauthausen tournaments. In his junior career, Medjedovic reached a career-high ranking of No. 9 after winning titles at the 2019 Berlin Grade 1 and 2019 New Delhi Grade 2 without dropping a set.
In his most recent ATP Tour appearance at the 2024 Belgrade tournament, Medjedovic reached the final but lost to Shapovalov. He also secured an indoor Challenger title at Oeiras-1 last month by defeating Draxl. If Medjedovic wins his match in Marseille, he will become the first Serbian player to achieve victory in the tournament since Krajinovic in 2018, who reached the quarterfinals but was ultimately defeated by Pouille.
