In the bustling city of New Orleans, anticipation for the upcoming Super Bowl continues to build. Fans from all over the country are eagerly awaiting the big game, and if you’re one of the lucky ones still planning to attend, you’re in for a treat – the ticket prices have dropped compared to last year.
According to StubHub spokesperson Adam Budelli, the entry-level price for a ticket is currently around $2,600. While some tickets are still available, they are selling quickly, so if you want to secure your spot, now is the time to act. The average ticket price has also decreased to about $6,900, representing a 17% drop from last year.
The Kansas City Chiefs, the reigning champions, have secured their place in the Super Bowl for the third year in a row. After narrowly defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023, they are looking to make history once again. As one fan noted, “They’ve seen their team win. It’s hard to justify spending $10,000, year after year, if you’ve already seen it.”
Speaking of the Eagles, it seems like their fans may be leading ticket sales for this year’s game. While initially, sales from Pennsylvania dominated those from Kansas and Missouri, the gap has since narrowed. Budelli revealed, “We’ve seen a 14% increase in ticket purchases from Kansas City Chiefs fans. Now, the gap is around 15% from Pennsylvania and about 9% from Kansas and Missouri. While it still favors the Eagles, the numbers may improve for Chiefs fans as the weekend progresses.”
Despite the decrease in ticket prices this year, Budelli pointed out that last year’s location in Las Vegas was an exception. The prices for this year’s Super Bowl are more in line with what was seen in 2023, making it a more affordable option for fans.
As the weekend approaches, excitement continues to mount for the big game. Fans across the country are gearing up to witness history in the making, and with ticket prices dropping, there’s no better time to secure your spot at the Super Bowl.
